That's exactly why the cover is also available to buy separately. This gives you the option of buying an additional cover so that you can wash it regularly and have a change cover at the ready just in case.

The mattress cover is made of cotton from controlled organic cultivation. The breathable structure of the fabric is particularly skin-friendly. It feels soft and gives even people with sensitive skin a pleasant feeling. The integrated zip makes it easy to remove and machine wash at 40° C. Cotton fabrics are very robust and can withstand even frequent washing, which is especially important for allergy sufferers and children.

When growing organic cotton, chemical fertilisers, pesticides and herbicides are completely avoided. This makes the material particularly gentle on the skin and significantly reduces the allergy potential. Genetically modified seeds are also not used in the cultivation of organic cotton. Only environmentally friendly dyes or auxiliary materials are used in further processing.

As there is currently no natural material that is breathable and abrasion resistant, we use recycled PET for the underside of the cover to protect the bottom of the mattress and prolong its life.

Is the mattress cover washable?
Yes, you can wash the cover at 40°C in the machine.

Why do I need an additional mattress cover?
You can also sleep without sheets on the soft cotton cover of your Natural Latex Mattress. In that case, we recommend an additional mattress cover so that you can wash it regularly and always have a change of cover at hand.
