Materials
Natural latex
The core of our mattress consists of 100% natural latex. It offers a pleasant lying feeling and optimal point-elastic support for your body in every lying position. It regulates moisture and heat, inhibits mould growth and is also suitable for allergy sufferers.
Coconut fibres
The supporting layer on the underside of our mattress consists of coconut fibres that are combined with natural latex. They form a heat-regulating antibacterial base and further extend the durability of the mattress by preventing it from sinking into the gaps of your bed 2.0 or slatted frame.
Organic cotton
The removable cover is washable at 40 °C and made of organic cotton.
Recycled PET
The underside of the mattress cover is made of air-permeable and breathable recycled PET.

At the heart of our natural latex mattress is a point-elastic 7-zone core made from 100% natural latex. It responds precisely where pressure is applied to the mattress, providing a comfortable, medium-firm feel in different sleeping positions.
The open-cell structure of the natural latex and the vertical air channels in the mattress core support air circulation within the mattress. On the underside, the natural latex core is complemented by a layer of coconut fibres, which provides additional stability.
The removable cover combines organic cotton on the sleeping surface with recycled PET on the underside. We use the different materials specifically where their individual properties are most beneficial. The cover can be removed and machine washed at 40°C.
When developing the mattress, it was also important to us to offer a high-quality natural latex mattress at a fair price. That's why we spent considerable time finding a production partner with whom we could meet our requirements for materials, workmanship and sleeping comfort while keeping the price as accessible as possible.

What materials is the natural latex mattress made of?

The mattress can be described as medium-firm. We have not defined a specific firmness rating, as these are generally not very meaningful.

The mattress is suitable for all bed types and can be used on almost any slatted frame and, of course, with our Bed 2.0 and GRID Bed.
Who is the natural latex mattress suitable for?
Our natural latex mattress is suitable for people weighing up to 100 kg (from a width of 140 cm, it is designed for 2 people weighing up to 100 kg each). The point-elastic core provides optimal support for your body, regardless of your sleeping position. The natural materials also make the mattress an ideal sleeping surface for allergy sufferers.
Is the mattress also suitable for people with back pain?
Absolutely! The natural latex mattress provides optimal support for your body and can help prevent back pain and tension. You can also use the mattress if you already have back pain. Of course, you can try it out for yourself risk-free and test the mattress for 30 days. If you don't like it, simply return it to us free of charge. Please note that you may experience some tension during the first few days as your body adjusts to the new mattress. So give yourself and your new mattress some time to get used to each other.
Can I try out the mattress?
Since it always takes some time for the body to adjust to a new mattress, you can test our natural latex mattress for 30 nights to see if it is right for you. If it isn't, simply return it to us free of charge.
What do I do if I don't like the natural latex mattress?
You have 30 nights to thoroughly test the mattress. If you are not satisfied, we will collect it free of charge and refund the purchase price.
Why is the natural latex mattress only available up to a width of 140 cm?
Natural latex is a relatively heavy material, which means our 140 cm mattress weighs an impressive 38 kg. As we want to keep shipping as simple, fast and affordable as possible rather than using a freight forwarder, mattress widths over 140 cm are unfortunately not currently possible due to their high weight. However, you can order a double cover to connect the mattresses together. This means the gap between the individual mattresses is no longer noticeable.
Is the mattress cover removable and washable?
Yes, thanks to the zipper, you can easily remove the cover and machine wash it at 40°C.
Can I use the mattress without a sheet?
You can also sleep directly on the soft cotton cover without a sheet. Thanks to the zipper, it can be easily removed and machine washed at 40°C. You can order a separate replacement cover here.
Can I use the mattress straight after unpacking?
Of course! Although the natural latex mattress usually takes a few days to fully expand, it is ready to use immediately and provides full comfort from the start. Please open the mattress packaging within 24 hours of receiving it. Keeping it in the packaging for longer may affect the material and prevent the mattress from expanding properly.
How do I place the mattress correctly on my bed?
You can recognise the underside of your mattress by the white recycled PET cover and the coconut fibre layer directly underneath it. Both help protect your mattress. There is no defined head or foot end.
How long does it take to get used to my new natural latex mattress?
Especially if you have never slept on a latex mattress before, your body may need a few nights to adjust to your new mattress. Some muscle tension during the adjustment period is not unusual. To give you plenty of time to decide whether the mattress is right for you, you can try it for 30 nights. If it’s not the right fit, we’ll collect it from you and refund your purchase price.
How should I care for my natural latex mattress?
Make sure your mattress can air out properly during the day so that any moisture can escape. Simply removing the duvet is sufficient. For even better ventilation of the mattress core, open the cover and fold it back. We recommend doing this for at least 6 hours approximately once a month. The mattress cover can be completely removed and machine-washed at 40°C. To ensure even wear and extend the lifespan of your mattress, we recommend rotating it 180° approximately every 6 months – in other words, switching the head and foot ends.

Safety instructions
• Important! Do not open the mattress with a knife or scissors.

• After opening the packaging, we recommend airing the mattress for around three days so that the material can fully expand and the harmless new-product smell can disappear.
• Due to the special packaging, the cover may develop natural creases, which will smooth out again after unpacking.

BREATHABLE CORE
The core of our mattress is made from 100% natural latex. Natural latex – also known as natural rubber – is highly elastic and pressure-responsive. This means the material gives way precisely where pressure is applied to the mattress and adapts to the contours of your body. The seven ergonomic comfort zones are designed for different areas of the body, providing a comfortably supportive, medium-firm feel in a variety of sleeping positions – including when sleeping on your side.
Unlike mattress cores made from synthetic foam, our mattress core is made from 100% natural latex and contains no petroleum-based foam. The vertical air channels and open-cell structure of the material support air circulation within the mattress.
Natural latex is obtained from the milky sap of the rubber tree and is a renewable raw material. The natural latex used in our products comes from Sri Lanka and India. For our mattress cores, the latex milk is purified and concentrated before being foamed and poured into moulds. The subsequent vulcanisation process gives the natural latex its characteristic elasticity and pressure responsiveness.
When developing our mattress, we made a conscious decision to use natural latex and carried out extensive research into materials, their origins and processing, as well as suitable production partners. This allows us to combine a mattress core made from a renewable raw material with the properties that matter to us, such as pressure responsiveness, flexibility and breathability.
SOFT COVER
On the sleeping surface, the mattress cover is made from organically grown cotton. The breathable cotton fabric feels pleasantly soft against the skin and complements the comfort of the natural latex core.
Thanks to the integrated zip, the cover can be easily removed and machine washed at 40°C. The cotton fabric is durable and designed to withstand regular use and cleaning.
Organic cotton is subject to specific requirements regarding cultivation and processing. Genetically modified seeds are not permitted in organic cotton farming, and the use of certain synthetic pesticides and fertilisers is restricted compared with conventional cotton farming. We work with carefully selected production partners to process our cotton and pay close attention to the materials and processing aids used for our product.
For the underside of the cover, we use recycled PET. During our material research, it was important to find a material for this area that is both breathable and abrasion-resistant. Recycled PET meets these requirements and helps protect the underside of the mattress.
By doing so, we combine different materials in the cover according to their specific properties: organic cotton on the sleeping surface and recycled PET on the underside.
SUPPORTING COCONUT MAT
On the underside of the mattress, a layer of coconut fibres complements the elastic natural latex core. It stabilises the mattress construction and supports the core, particularly when used on bases with gaps, such as our Bed 2.0 or a slatted bed base.
The coconut fibres are obtained from the outer husk of the coconut. This is a by-product of coconut processing and can be used for a variety of applications. For our mattress, the fibres are processed into an open structure and sprayed with natural latex, giving the coconut layer its structure and elasticity.
During production, the coconut fibres are first prepared and processed into long fibres. These are then formed into an air-permeable mat. Spraying the fibres with natural latex bonds them together and gives the layer the desired elasticity and dimensional stability.
The open structure of the coconut fibres allows for air circulation within the mattress construction. At the same time, the coconut layer stabilises the natural latex core and provides an additional layer between the mattress core and the bed base.
Both the coconut fibres and the natural latex used to bond them come from renewable raw materials. This means that here, too, we deliberately select materials whose properties meet the functional requirements of our mattress construction.
