Load capacity
The Bed 2.0 LOW is designed for a single person up to 150 kg in the Small size. From the Medium size onwards, it is suitable for two people. As a family bed, it can support up to four people, each weighing up to 150 kg.

Our sustainable natural latex mattress is the perfect match for the eco-friendly cardboard bed. In general, all mattress types, except futons, fit the Bed 2.0 LOW. Be sure to choose a mattress that is at least 15 cm thick, with a medium-firm to firm support, and consider your mattress manufacturer's specific recommendations. In our collection, you'll also find a natural latex headboard and bedlinen made from organic cotton.
Tip for smooth floors
If you plan to use the bed on smooth surfaces, we recommend placing an anti-slip mat underneath to prevent any sliding.

The Bed 2.0 LOW combines minimalist design with high functionality. With a height of just 16.5 cm, it embraces the trend of low furniture, which makes spaces feel more open and modern. It’s the compact alternative to the classic Bed 2.0 – stable, flexible, and versatile. Thanks to its modular design, it can be easily adjusted in width (up to the size of a family bed) and even extended to a length of 220 cm.
When not in use, it can be compactly folded – making it perfect for small spaces or as a guest bed. Its lightweight nature makes it easy to transport alone, making it an ideal piece for those who move frequently.
The bed comes pre-assembled for common mattress sizes and can be easily customized with just a few adjustments. No slatted frame is needed: the thoughtful diamond structure ensures optimal airflow and maintains your mattress's comfort.
Made from high-quality heavy-duty cardboard, the Bed 2.0 LOW is not only stable and durable but also sustainable. The corrugated cardboard is made up of 54–80% recycled material and is fully recyclable. The use of maize starch-based adhesives makes it particularly environmentally friendly. At the end of its life cycle, you can simply dispose of it through the paper recycling bin.
In addition, our range includes a sustainable mattress, organic bedding, and a matching headboard to complement your setup.

Which mattress is suitable for the Bed 2.0 LOW?
Our natural latex mattress is a great choice for the Bed 2.0 LOW, perfectly complementing the sustainable cardboard bed. Generally, all types of mattresses - except futons - are suitable. Does my Bed 2.0 LOW need a slatted frame?
A slatted frame is not required. Simply place your mattress directly on the bed. The intelligent diamond structure allows for optimal air circulation. For more information, check out our magazine. How high is the Bed 2.0 LOW?
The Bed 2.0 LOW is just 16.5 cm high, making it half the height of its larger counterpart, the original Bed 2.0.
How much weight can the Bed 2.0 LOW support?
The weight capacity depends on the bed size: In the Small size, the bed is designed for one person. From the Medium size, it can accommodate two people, and in the family bed format, up to four people can sleep on it, each weighing up to 150 kg.
Can I split my double bed into two single beds?
Yes, this is easily possible. Our double bed (Large size) consists of two connected single beds (Small size), which can be separated at any time by removing the connection pieces.
How can I store my Bed 2.0 LOW when I don’t need it?
The Bed 2.0 LOW can be easily folded flat, taking up very little space and can be stored effortlessly. If you lay it on its side, you can conveniently stand the mattress against the wall.
